MECA Masjid Project Details and Plans

Stage 1 – Purchase Land

The land for the Masjid will cost approximately $1.5 Million – $2 Million.
We have shorlisted a few suitable lands in the south side of Brisbane where most of the muslim community resides. Your generous donations will help us to secure one of these properties.

Stage 2 – Construction of the Masjid

The MECA Masjid will comprise of two floors each about 1000 sqm.
The construction cost for this stage is about $1.0 Million.

Ground Floor:

The Ground floor will accomodate:

Youth recreational facilities

Large Community development hall

Kitchen, toilet, wudu and washroom facilites.

First Floor:

The First floor will house the following:

Library with large collection of Islamic and other books

Spacious Prayer area

State of art multipurpose lecture/conference facilities

Classrooms with operable walls to allow flexible usage

Office and meeting rooms

Stage 3 – Furnishing

Some of the major furnishing items include – Carpet, Book shelves, Audio/Visual equipment, flexible classroom partitions, computers etc.
The estimated cost of furnishing is $150,000.

المرحلة الأولى – امتلاك الأرض

التكلفة التقريبية لشراء الأرض من 1.5الى 2 مليون دولار استرالي.

لقد قمنا بتسجيل قائمة بالمواقع المناسبة في جنوب برزبن حيث يقيم هناك غالبية المجتمع المسلم. تبرعكم سوف يكون له دور كبير لتأمين وشراء أحد تلك المواقع المتاحة.

المرحلة الثانية – بناء المركز الاسلامي

سوف يكوّن المركز من طابقين على مساحة 1000م2 لكل طابق.

تكاليف الانشاء لهذه المرحلة تبلغ تقريبا مليون دولار استرالي.

تفاصيل البناء:

o الدور الأرضي

· مرافق ترفيهيه

· قاعة اجتماعية كبيرة

· منطقة الوضوء والغسيل

· دورات المياه

· مطبخ

o الدور الأول

· المساحة المخصصة للصلاة (المصلى)

· مكتبة اسلامية وثقافية ضخمة

· خدمات للمحاضرات والندوات

· فصول دراسية بحواجز متحركه لمرونة توسعتها وتقسيمها حسب الحاجه.

· غرف للمكاتب والاجتماعات.

المرحلة الثالثة – الأثاث

يحتوي الأثاث على فرش الأرضية ، رفوف للكتب ، معدات صوتية ومرئية ، حواجز محتركة للفصول الدراسة ، كمبيوترات .. الخ.

التكلفة التقديرية للأثاث هي 150,000 دولار استرالي.
